Neck Tie Scrunchies

I've been volunteering with Helping Hands MN, a charity that collects donations from the community and holds free shopping events for those in need. Apparently, no one is in need of old polyester ties in blah colors, hahaha! So I needed to find a way to upcycle these ties into something people might like.

I didn't have enough pretty ties in coordinating colors to make pillow covers or a table runner ... but I did have enough to make an assortment of scrunchies!

Locker Bin Gift Basket

These super-cute metal Locker Bin organizers were at Wal-Mart last week. $4.88 each. They actually each come with a cardboard shelf, adding height and making them perfect for assembling gift baskets!

I tried to find a variety of items to hit the sweet, salty and sour taste buds. Also looked for items of varying size/shape/height.

 I was able to use the slots on each end to stuff money under the cardboard shelf ... since I had forgotten to put the money in there before adding all the food :-/.
