If turning a wedding dress into a tree skirt is wrong, I don't want to be right :-).
I found this wedding dress at Goodwill on $2 Tuesday! It had lots of flouncy layers so I thought it would make a great, fluffy tree skirt.
I cut away the top and cut a slit down the side.
And wrapped it around the tree-stand:
It looks like pretty, lace-y snow! It would look A LOT better with presents ... but for a 2-minute, $2 project, I think it looks pretty nifty!
And yes, I do feel slightly bad about cutting up someone's wedding dress :-(.
