Cute little notepads! Use as party favors or Valentines.
Supplies:
- Cardstock
- Printer paper
- Brass- Plated Fasteners
- Decorative Duct Tape
- Washi Tape (optional)
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Butter Knife
- Paper Cutter (optional)
- Small Hole Punch or Crop-a-Dile
- Pencil
Cut 9 pages of printer paper into fourths ( 5 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches). Stack.
Cut a piece of card stock into a rectangle. 4 3/8 inches by 7 1/8 inches.
Measure 5 5/8 inches away from one end. Score the short length of the cardstock. Measure 5 7/8 inches away from the same end. Score again.
Fold on scored lines. The card stock will now fit neatly over the thickness of the printer paper.
Decide where you'd like to place the fasteners. I measured one inch in on each side, marked the spot with a pencil and punched a hole through the whole thing with my crop-a-dile. If you're using a regular hole punch, you may need to make smaller stacks, punch each stack separately, then stack everything back together.
Place brass fasteners in the holes.
Turn over and cover the backs with decorative duct tape. Trim away excess tape.
Add decorative washi tape to the bottom edge of the note pad (optional).
