Show Your Irish Pride with Buttons and Felt!

Ready to show your Irish Pride? Add buttons and felt shapes to the sleeve, back or pocket of your shirt! Quick and simple.

I'm about as Irish as a box of rocks . . . but that doesn't mean I can't celebrate St. Patty's day in style!

Cut shamrock shapes out of felt OR buy felt stickers! I found these in the dollar section at either Michael's or Joann Fabrics.

Sew your buttons onto the sleeves or back of your shirt. You don't need to attach them super securely. Two swoops per button hole is enough for this project.

Cut a slit in the center of each felt piece. If you're using stickers, leave the paper backing on the shamrock.

Slide a felt shape over each button.

Done. Now you won't get pinched on St. Patty's day!

  1. Haha what a cute idea! I actually need to find something to put on my dog that is green (yes, he's going to a St. Patrick's Day party too...) so I might need to sew a quick button onto his collar...!
