Origami Money Bunny! Fun group craft for your Spring or Easter celebrations :-). Also a great way to hide a money gift for the kids!
- Coin and/or Hershey's Kiss
- Button & Glue (optional)
- Scissors or Paper Cutter
- Scrapbook Paper
Cut a six inch square of scrapbook paper. If you've never made these before, I don't recommend using smaller sized squares!
After making each fold, you may want to use a butter knife or the bottom of a glass to help make a really good crease. Better creases will yield better results. They'll also help a ton when you've reached parts of the tutorial where you'll need to gently undo all of your folds!
Follow the pictures (and Pin the collage for reference):
**For step "bunny tummy (2)", make the folds and tuck them INSIDE the little flap made in step "bunny tummy (1)".
Glue buttons to the nose and butt areas (optional).
I used Hershey Kisses and dollar coins to fill the bunnies. The money and flat bottom of the candy helps stabilize/weigh down the bunny and the pointed edge let's the top paper collapse a bit into the bunny shape.
Don't be discouraged if your first few attempts don't turn out very well ... Mine finally started looking bunny-shaped with my fourth try :-).
